Inspired by Rick
and Len’s legendary Small Town Crime Wave, Brown County Brouhaha recaps some of
the month’s more noteworthy calls made through the Brown County dispatch.
Sometimes tragic, often times hysterical, Brown County Brouhaha is a harsh
reminder of what our public servants deal with on a day-to-day basis.

9/1/17 - 2:38 PM
1265 Lombardi Ave – Black male insisting he’s there to try
out for the Packers – is refusing to leave
9/2/17 – 7:41 PM
S. Ashland – Neighbors in verbal disturbance over parking
stall – complainant told dispatch he has a gun and will use it – was advised by
call taker to put the gun away
9/2/17 – 8:09 PM
East Shore Dr – Wildlife Sanctuary – Person was still in nature
preserve when it closed – currently locked inside
UPDATE: 8:14 pm – Subject was able to get out of building –
no longer needs rescue
9/3/17 – 1:30 PM
Imperial Lane – Male/female physical – male has now left in
a black station wagon – last time complainant saw the vehicle the female was on
top of the hood as he was driving away

1301 Main St - Dairy Queen – White male with black hair and
glasses was in the drive thru doing sexually inappropriate things in his
vehicle - Left eastbound on Main - DQ may have it on video

3000 block Nicolet Dr – Complainant states there is a
squirrel in their yard that is “acting strangely” and refusing to leave

2421 Monroe Rd – McDonald’s – There is an opossum in the
front entrance refusing to move out of the way

1500 block Elm St – Female complainant stating a male w/ a
large, machete style knife threatened her – suspect last seen walking on Elm St
wearing a red hat and backpack

Bay Park Square – Two individuals peeping under dressing
room doors – led to verbal altercation – security has suspects by entrance just
outside of mall
9/6/17 – 3:34 PM
1500 block Forest Glen Dr – Male complainant states he
picked up a female at McDonald’s who looked like she needed help – female then
proceeded to steal complainant’s vehicle – thinks she may be headed to
Milwaukee

– female smashed male’s windshield w/ a piece of wood

intoxicated male party stole complainant’s vehicle and said he is “going to
Lambeau Field to sleep it off”

35 year old son – son is currently in his bedroom

15th Ave – Female complainant stating she saw her
stolen dog on Craigslist and seller won’t respond to her

may have a knife

1100 block Brosig – Naked male outside in his front yard –
he went back inside his home & stood in front of his window naked – ongoing
issue

1400 Sterling Heights Court – Complainant states male was
knocking on her door – when she refused to answer he climbed onto her 2nd
story balcony – complainant does not know who this man is

space – one of the neighbors placed a metal bar under the tires of other
vehicle

Coach Lane – 2 juveniles smoking marijuana – complainant
took the marijuana pipe away from suspects

in screen door – complainant so upset can’t remember own apt #

window – complainant believes he’s trying to break into it

2500 block Trojan Dr – Complainant went outside to leave for
work and found a male sleeping in the passenger seat of her car – unable to
wake/move him

610 Maryhill Dr – Notre Dame Academy – approx 10-12 year old
kids setting off a fire extinguisher near football field
9/17/17 – 7:06 PM
1400 block Main St – Teenage male calling 911 multiple times
– saying parents kicked him out off the restaurant

2600 block Trojan Ln – Male walked up to back patio of an
apartment building, exposed himself, and started masturbating – last seen
walking on Trojan Dr

1400 block Cedar – complainant can hear loud banging coming
from a neighboring residence - also a “strong smell” of marijuana

600 block Crooks – Barking dog complaint – complainant
stated if something’s not done they “Will be going to jail for shooting a dog”

following them around for the past few days video recording them – heavy set

and what sounds like a bear near a boat

400 block S. Van Buren – Complainant requesting welfare
check for male laying down on the sidewalk – has not moved for at least 5
minutes – male white wearing blue jeans
UPDATE: man awoke and stated he was just sleeping and is
waiting for the bus
9/19/17 – 5:20 PM
400 block N. Monroe – Female in camouflage jumpsuit walked
up to complainant asking if ‘Vinny’ lived at the apartment building – she had
an open pocket knife in her hand, but did not threaten anyone

Adams @ Mason – Male party is intoxicated – also yelling
& urinating off the bridge

Glendale Ave - VEHICLE THEFT IN PROGRESS – Pizza delivery
driver called 911 to report vehicle theft in progress – vehicle is stopped on
Glendale and male suspect is now on foot running into the woods – suspect
wearing white shirt, dark hair, basketball shorts, heavier set – theft occurred
on Becket – suspect now on Spring Green – people in the neighborhood are
assisting delivery driver and chasing suspect
UPDATE: 6:16 pm – Vehicle is in the front yard of address on
1600 block Steiner – people in the neighborhood caught the suspect – suspect
claims he did not steal the vehicle, someone else did – but delivery driver
only saw this one male
9/20/17 – 8:51 AM
St. Francis Park Dr – Caller states multiple people wearing
cowboy hats and carrying guns are standing outside his bay window
UPDATE: 8:56 AM – Complainant states it is “His right to stand
his ground” – officer said to let him know police are on scene
UPDATE: 9:02 AM – The man called saying the men in cowboy
hats and on horses are carrying guns – police stated nobody is home or in
neighbor’s yard and nobody is in front of the window – complainant also said
something about his girlfriend – g/f does not speak English and says she cannot
speak to police
UPDATE: 9:08 AM – Police asking for complainant and girlfriend
to come outside and speak with them – he says police can come in, but he will
not put his guns away
9/21/17 – 5:27 PM –
Complainant states her dog and phone were stolen from
vehicle – the party that stole the dog is now walking down Cleveland – complainant
is following in a gold car

400 block S. Washington – De Pere – Complainant states
there’s a male whipping a dog w/ a leather strap inside the batting cage
9/20/17 – 8:22 PM
1000 block Lombardi Ave – Complainant states he found a
suspicious note inside his hotel room
UPDATE: Part of the note said: “Who am I?”
9/20/17 – 8:50 PM
2250 W. Mason – Festival Foods – Subject backed into
complainant’s car in the parking lot – subject & complainant exchanged
information – subject left in a bright green Jeep heading towards Walmart –
complainant thinks subject may be intoxicated – requesting welfare check –
white male w/ a Little Caesars pizza w/ last seen on frontage road
9/20/17 – 10 PM
2500 block Laredo Ln – 4 or 5 teenage males outside –
complainant does not think they live in the neighborhood
9/21/17 – 11:35 AM
800 block Christiana – 911 hang up – on callback, caller
stated a strange woman entered her home – female Hispanic left in a brown
vehicle in unknown direction – complainant states she has video of the woman

Dispatcher: “Call on the noisy rooster…again.”
Officer: Sigh “10-4”

43 @ Humboldt – Male white standing on a concrete ledge w/
his hands behind his back
UPDATE: 6:50 PM – Officers located male and are speaking w/
him – has blood all over his shorts

300 block S. Maple – Complainant states there’s a male party
breaking into a garage
UPDATE: Officer to dispatch “No, he’s not breaking in he
lives there.”
9/22/17 – 11:23 AM
Main Ave @ Commodity – Suspicious situation – 3 males in a
green Dodge Neon – 1 of the males has a knife – complainant states males are
“greasy looking”

777 Sunset Beach Rd- Suamico Boat Landing – Truck went into
water and is now FULLY SUBMERGED

300 block S. Maple – Subject locked inside a shed –
complainant is argumentative – ongoing issue

NB on Lime Kiln – Motorcycle driver wearing a large BUNNY
helmet is speeding & driving recklessly – complainant states they have

hear her crying into officer’s radio “I need help!” “I need a cigarette!” –
sending EMS

1300 block Baumgart Road – Complainant stating neighbors are
continually throwing dog feces on their property – woke to find more this
morning – ongoing problem

800 block N. Ashland – Report of an older Chihuahua
“Charging at the neighbors”
9/24/17 – 9:25 AM
W. Mason – Complainant stating ‘gangsters’ keep breaking
into his house and now his keys are stuck in the lock and can’t get them out

1700 block Lost Ln – Deceased cat in driveway – no collar
UPDATE: 9:36 AM – Deceased cat is in fact a raccoon

Sunset Beach Rd – Near 41 – Complainant has been harassed
all day by female party – she just pulled into his driveway, gave dirty looks,
squealed out, and went back towards highway 41

situation – their garage door keeps going up & down and they’re not doing
it
