Green Bay Man Sentenced on Multiple Felony Charges [VIDEO OF ARREST]






Ezra Callahan Sentenced in Brown County Court


Green Bay, WI - Ezra Callahan, 32, was sentenced in court on Monday, December 18 related to three separate felony cases from outstanding warrants. Callahan's charges included two counts of Felon in Possession of a Firearm, two counts of 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Fleeing/Eluding Officers, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Sex Offender Fail to Provide Information (registry violation), Disorderly Conduct, Theft of Movable Property, and Vehicle Theft. 





For case 17CF976, charges were 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety and Vehicle Operator Flee/Elude Officer. Callahan is sentenced to 3.5 years state prison and 5 years extended supervision. While on extended supervision, he will be required to submit monthly pay stubs to verify employment, submit to random urine screens and breathalyzers to verify absolute sobriety, and complete AODA assessment and treatment.

For case 17CF139 - charges of Sex Offender Fail to Provide Registry Information, he is sentenced to 1.5 years state prison and 2 years extended supervision, The circuit court information does not state if this is concurrent or consecutive to the other sentences.

Lastly, case 16CF456, charges of Disorderly Conduct (Domestic Abuse), Theft of Movable Property (Special Facts), Felon Possess Firearm. For the disorderly conduct charge, Ezra was sentenced to 3 months jail, concurrent with other sentences/charges. The Theft of Movable Property and Felon in Possession of Firearm resulted in 1.5 years state prison/2 years extended supervision and 2 years state prison/3 years extended supervision, respectively.




On July 3, 2017, Ezra Callahan was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants from 2015. According to the Green Bay Press Gazette, police were tipped to Callahan's location and after a brief pursuit, was boxed in by officers and apprehended at the Pit Row Shell gas station on University Avenue. While attempting to escape, Callahan struck three police cars and another vehicle. 

Per the criminal complaint, inside his vehicle police found an unloaded .22 caliber revolver and 30 plus rounds of ammunition. Along with a fake ID in his wallet, a set of brass knuckles and drug paraphernalia was also found.

The felony charge for Sex Offender Failure to Provide Information was a result of requirements placed upon him for a charge of 3rd Degree Sexual Assault. The charge stemmed from a relationship Callahan, then a 16-year-old high school junior, had with a high school freshman. One year post their break-up, the charges were filed and he plead guilty.
