Armed Robbery Suspects Apprehended on University Ave
Green Bay, WI - Wednesday evening at approximately 6:45 pm the Green Bay Police Department made a felony traffic stop on University Avenue related to an armed robbery that occurred earlier today.
The robbery happened around noon at or near an apartment complex on Humboldt Road. A male victim gave a description of two suspects and stated they got away with his red, white, and blue 'Orlando' wallet, which contained $900 cash.
The suspects are described as a Hispanic male approximately 18 years old, 5'5" tall, 155-170 pounds, with a stockier build, and greased back black hair and a skinny black male, approximately 6' tall, between 16 and 18 years old, wearing a black jacket with fur on the side with his hood up. The black male allegedly hit the victim in the chest with a gun and stole his wallet.
After a description and license plate of the suspect vehicle was provided to police, the vehicle was located at a residence on the east side of Green Bay. The suspects left the residence in a silver Saturn and officers followed them down University Avenue. The Green Bay Police Department made the stop in the 1500 block of University and took the suspects into custody without incident. It's still unclear if the parties apprehended this evening were positively identified by the victim. This is a developing story.
