Brown County Brouhaha - March 2019
Inspired by Rick and Len’s legendary Small Town Crime Wave, Brown County Brouhaha recaps some of the month’s more noteworthy calls made through the Brown County dispatch. Sometimes tragic, often times hysterical, Brown County Brouhaha is a harsh reminder of what our public servants deal with on a day-to-day basis. Thanks to all who contributed!

300 block S Military – On the west side of the parking lot of HJ Martin, intoxicated male standing on vehicles in the parking lot – male Hispanic, wearing a green hat, black jacket

Hobart area – Suspicious situation – complainant stating he’s on his computer receiving emails from ___ - his computer is now filling up and unable to shut it off or can’t get off his computer

Uphill Dr – Pittsfield – EMS & PD en route for male under the influence of drugs – rescue staging until officers clear the scene

- UPDATE: 8:14 am - Officers made contact with the male – male came outside and is “doing karate moves out in the driveway.”
- 8:18 am – Male is back inside the home and has barricaded himself inside his bathroom
- 8:29 am – Taser deployed, male detained – rescue can approach
500 block Pine St – Disturbance – male party trying to steal another male’s gloves

Man Cal Rd – Caller said that a female stopped in a pickup truck that was broken down in his driveway last night, had no plates on it, she said she’s from Appleton – she spent the might in his garage and now she’s burning her clothes in his wood burner

S Military – Female came inside the business asking them to call the FBI because somebody’s after her – she left on foot in unknown direction

Area Walmart – Subway – Subway employee was threatened by a female Native wearing a black hoodie with her hair in a bun that was upset over some black olives – she’s now inside the store

University Ave – Complainant’s daughter was leaving the Boys & Girls Club and a male driving an older red van stopped her and stated she hit his van – she then drove to the ATM and gave the male $300 dollars because he refused to let her call officers

Velp Ave – Culver’s – Welfare check – caller thinks the driver was possibly high or on something, was drooling in his vehicle and has been there since about 1 a.m. – when he went to confront the vehicle, the driver took off – unknown direction of travel – blue Chev truck, plates come back to a party out of De Pere

EB on Mason at Ridge – Dodge Durango that’s spray painted black – open intoxicants – flashing a PBR at people while driving – complainant following in a white Buick

E Mission Rd – Possible burglary in progress – caller stating their home alarm was activated and via video feed can hear someone inside their home – cannot make out a visual description
- UPDATE: It’s the complainant’s mother, cancel all emergency traffic

215 N. Washington St - Intoxicated male urinating in the lot - male white, wearing a camouflage jacket & blue jeans.
- UPDATE: 9:34 pm - Officer out w/the male on Washington.

Algoma Rd – Male/female physical disturbance – caller states her boyfriend came home intoxicated with another female and picked a fight with her – both are still on scene – complaining of possible back injury

W Main Circle – Male/female physical disturbance – female party was attacking the complainant and dumped coffee on his lap – no weapons5:56 am – 3/25/19
S Webster – Suspect is a neighbor upset about a parking issue – came over and punched complainant – refusing rescue – suspect left, unknown where she is right now

2700 block Humboldt Rd – Weapons call – male black pointed a gun at complainant – was over a driving issue – suspect flashed a gun at him and made a statement that he was gonna use it
