James' wife, Victoria "Vicki" Prokopovitz, went missing on April 25, 2013, just over 6 years ago.

According to a May 6, 2015 WBAY exclusive, in the last week of April 2015, the Brown County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at the Pittsfield home the couple shared together. For the Sheriff's Department to receive permission to search the property on Kunesh Rd, investigators had to lay out the reasons for requesting the search. On the last page of the request, investigators stated, "...there is reasonable inference that Victoria Prokopovitz is a victim of foul play such as homicide and/or kidnapping."

There were 38 separate items seized from the home, including 7 computers, 12 hard drives, Vicki's cell phone & purse, and blood swabs from floors in the bedroom, kitchen, hallway, and from a pillow.

James told investigators at the time that the last words he heard from her was that she was going to have some coffee and go to bed. The next morning when he woke up for work, she was gone. He reported her missing upon returning home from work later that afternoon. At the time of her disappearance, her personal items - cell phone, purse, and cigarettes, were all still at the home.

This is a developing story...

Update - Propokovitz Sr. is being held on a $2 million cash bond on the charges related to the death of missing wife, Victoria Propokovitz. Propokovitz & his girlfriend, Kathyn Friday made their first appearance in Brown County Court this afternoon.

Kathyrn Friday is being held on a $25,000 cash bond on charges of Perjury and Obstruction.

Mr. Propokovitz told investigators that him and Friday started seeing each other approximately a month after Victoria's disappearance. He said that him and Kathy "talk about this all of the time".  Prosecutors held a John Doe hearing on Wednesday with James & Kathryn where both had reportedly admitted to lying about the disappearance of Victoria.
